Designer / Creative Tech Team

We’re looking for a Designer / Creative to join our Creative Tech team, someone who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and keen to grow their skills across both development and creative platforms.
The Role
This is a creative role, ideal for someone who wants to engage with creative production tools and digital campaign execution as well as working in new media areas learning new skills.
You’ll support designers and senior developers in creating high-impact advertising experiences using the Adobe suite as well as software such as Google Web Designer. You’ll also help update and maintain WordPress sites, while gradually building your knowledge of Google advertising platforms (like Google Studio) and the Adobe Creative Suite.
We’re not expecting deep experience, but we do want someone who’s proactive, adaptable, and interested in both the creative and technical sides of digital production.
What You’ll Do
Creative Production Support
Use Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) for basic asset preparation and editing
Collaborate with designers to adapt visual assets for web use
Help prepare visuals for previews, client presentations, and campaign QA
Ad Development & Campaign Support
Build and test HTML5 ads using Google Web Designer
Add animations, interactivity, and tracking specs for digital campaigns
Learn the basics of Google Studio and related ad delivery platforms
WordPress & Content Integration
Assist with editing and updating custom WordPress sites
Support content and asset updates, including image cropping, uploading, and layout formatting
What You’ll Need
Core Skills
- A willingness to learn WordPress, Google Web Designer, and Adobe Creative tools
- A hands-on, collaborative mindset with an interest in the visual result
Bonus (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with WordPress
- Awareness of ad platforms like DoubleClick or Google Ads Studio
- Confidence using Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator for web assets
- Familiarity with basic video editing

Job Title
Technical Systems & Data Automation Manager
Overview
You’ll play a key role in improving how Story9 operates day-to-day.
Working across campaign, finance, ad operations and business teams, your focus is on streamlining reporting, automating manual tasks, and improving how our internal tools, like Platform9 and the Story9 Portal, support the teams who use them. You will be working on a backlog of existing capability as well as suggesting new ideas and improvements.
You’ll work closely with different departments to understand their needs, identify pain points, and develop practical solutions. You’ll explore new technologies, improve data flows, and help define best practice so that everyone can work smarter and more efficiently.
This role requires a curious mind, always on the look out for ways to make improvements but with the ability to make those ideas a reality through business analysis and hands-on development of processes.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Tools Development
- Audit existing campaign reporting and finance workflows.
- Work with colleagues to design and improve internal tools and platforms (e.g. Platform9, Story9 Portal).
- Build scalable, repeatable solutions for cross-team usage.
- Partner with Tech and Ops teams to support internal tooling and data flows.
Automation & Integration
- Identify high-effort manual tasks and implement automation using scripts, APIs, or platforms like Zapier, n8n, or custom-built tools.
- Connect and streamline reporting systems, billing pipelines, and delivery trackers.
- Create auto-generated dashboards and reports for campaign teams, finance, and business managers.
Data Analysis & Reporting Design
- Map out data sources across media platforms and internal databases.
- Build backend logic for campaign tracking and finance reconciliations.
- Work with the ad ops team to support tagging structures and platform data integrity
Cross-Team Collaboration & Best Practice
- Partner with ad operations, campaign managers, and finance to understand workflow pain points.
- Develop training materials and documentation for new internal processes.
- Stay up to date with new tools and approaches in automation, reporting, and AI integration—and share recommendations with the wider team.
